Pretty in Pink

A first home for a young professional in Toronto, Ontario.

In this urban condo, which is her first foray into real estate, our client embraced the colours that bring her joy. Pink was the key thread throughout. It was a wonderfully refreshing project to bring to life her personality in this space.

As the living, dining, and kitchen area are all open to each other, they needed to work seamlessly together.

The main living area is largely a neutral palette. Sumptuous fabrics and textures add interest while providing a lovely backdrop to the warm metals and pink accents.

Our client is a wonderful cook and entertainer, so we maximized the seating area with a custom banquette to provide storage as well as extra seating.

The guest bathroom continues the neutral palette and shares the warm metals that feature elsewhere.

Finally, the primary bedroom was colour drenched with a half strength of Benjamin Moore’s Kept Love Letters CSP-425. In the en suite bathroom, we applied the same colour at full strength on the vanity to connect it to the neighbouring bedroom.

What was once a cookie cutter condo, is now truly a home.
