Seven shades of white

January 19, 2023

While I’m not afraid of colour, I do enjoy a clean neutral palette to bring a design together. The one paint colour that causes the most confusion is white. When people think of a neutral palette, they often think of the colour white. But there isn’t just a single white paint colour. There are hundreds of white colours that have varying undertones that can make or break a space design. Picking the right one can be very challenging. Here are seven Yassein Interior projects that each feature a different white paint from Benjamin Moore.

Classic Gray OC-23

This is a gorgeous pale gray that works particularly well with deeper shades of hardwood.

White Dove OC-17

A clean classic white that has a slight warmth to it. We’ve used it for the cabinetry in this kitchen.

Wind’s Breath OC-24

A soothing neutral with a warm gray undertone. It looks beautiful with dark wood floors.

Fog Mist OC-31

This is more of a pale greige. It provides a lovely backdrop to the navy and taupe furnishings in this great room project.

Calm OC-22

This is a fresh white with the barest hint of a bluish lavender. It works well in a cooler scheme with hits of black.
