An update for art and nature lovers to accommodate their large family and enhance gorgeous country views in Northumberland County, Ontario.
The open concept nature of this home called for a gentle neutral base. We used Benjamin Moore’s French Canvas throughout, while adding a hit of blue-green on the kitchen island (Benjamin Moore Porch Swing) and furnishings along with cream and caramel tones. The view through the full height windows is incredible so we didn’t want to detract from it.
Updated stair balusters modernized the space and the custom furnishings throughout added function and personality to compliment the amazing original art collection and meaningful family antiques. Performance fabrics were used throughout to hold up to the family dogs and gatherings.
The gorgeous bookcases that surround the sectional offer the perfect surface for intimate lamp light as well necessary storage for books and collectibles.
